Smooth edges enabled but not doing anything - no config log

Hi all,

I have a new laptop with Windows 10 and have edited my graphics file to sort out the shadows and other issues with success. However, despite no longer having a greyed out 'Smooth edges' slider, it doesn't actually smooth any edges - and yes, I am definitely pressing 'Apply changes'! This was never a problem on my old Windows 7 laptop.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

If it helps, I have dual graphics: AMD Radeon Vega 8 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

Win 10 is very hostile towards TS2. Consider yourself fortunate that the game works otherwise, and is playable. Most people with Win10, can't play the game.

Information we need

  1. The -config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file.
  2. Your operating System.
  3. What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
