Thanks so much, my issue is fixed. Smile My edge smoothing looks a lot better now too where as before it didn't even look like it made a difference.

omggggg kiri i got your new fix file for radeon and just changed the resolution, my smooth edges are back!!!! everything is working flawlessly, you are such an angel! thank you so so much, you are a fab human being <3

First of all,
great thread,
fixed alot of my problems with the ultimate collection. Smile

I've got a strange bug,
there's a black box under my sims,
but only when they're inside!

I've tried changing shadow from high to medium and low,
but still no change!

I'll upload my log file,
hope you can make some sense of it,
I'll be forever grateful no matter the outcome.

@Malmern check the first post: Windows 8: Black Shadows Box Issue, you can also get this happening on Win7, the fix is the same.

Before you post requesting help
Information we need

  1. The -config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file.
  2. Your operating System.
  3. What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
