Closed Sims 2 and Graphics Cards - the fixes.

Thanks so much, my issue is fixed. My edge smoothing looks a lot better now too where as before it didn't even look like it made a difference.

First of all,
great thread,
fixed alot of my problems with the ultimate collection.

I've got a strange bug,
there's a black box under my sims,
but only when they're inside!

I've tried changing shadow from high to medium and low,
but still no change!

I'll upload my log file,
hope you can make some sense of it,
I'll be forever grateful no matter the outcome.

@Malmern check the first post: Windows 8: Black Shadows Box Issue, you can also get this happening on Win7, the fix is the same.
