Sims4 rants and raves

@fanseelamb They might have not known they can turn it off. I agree with you, I had to switch to Emmy Starr's household in The Sims 3 to name her baby.

I think it's good news too! The part of me that likes watching an aquarium was kinda interested in Story Progression in TS3......but the way I like to play, it wouldn't work. If I wanted those Sims to change, I would be playing them! Tongue

Here is a quick link to a post on MTS : http://modthesims.info/showpost.php?p=44...count=4566

Rodrigues, you are a star.

I, too, think that the no story progression is great news! I haven't played TS3, but you have it to some extent in TSM as well and it drives me bonkers.

And Lee, when I read Rodrigues's post, I just wanted to hug him/her. It pretty much summed up everything I'm feeling about TS4 at this point.

I think no story progression has its pros and cons

Hmmm. Still peeved about toddlers and pools, but at least they (finally) took the time to explain instead of just casually glossing over it. And agreed, Yay CaS demo!

Apparently we'll be able to upload CAS Demo sims to the gallery to save them for playing with in the full game (source). I sure hope we can also save them on our own computer without having to upload to the Gallery. I don't wanna have to share my sim with the entire world just to be able to save it. Confused

You know, after looking at the changes to the SimGuru's avatar in the latest post by Honeywell, I am even less inclined towards 4. The first version looked friendly, at least, with some character, and the last one is kind of bland and aloof.
