Files spread all over? Big set cluttering up your catalog? Why not make a collection for them (or edit the existing one) and make the whole shebang collection folder only? No more searching all over for the different bits and they won't be cluttering up your catalog.

I've done this for quite a few things- you don't have to edit recolor files, just the meshes and it's an easy change to make in SimPE.

well, I have made ONE set that came with collection files OR non-collection files. It was a tedious awful task and I only did it cos I was hoping for a feature....

Yes, it is easy enough to do - but so boring, and it is such a big set. (buggy kitchen I mean)

Yeah, maybe it's easy to do, but you first need to know HOW. And alas, MLC failed to explain that... Big Grin And as you say, Lee: it's a lot of files, so it would be an enormous, boring undertaking.

In fact, I feel BB should have done that, so her downloaders wouldn't all have to do it for themselves. But I can understand why she didn't... it's still a lot of work. Smile

Yea, it is not so hard - I can make a simple tutorial on it, but I also understand why buggy did not. It only complicates things - many simmers get confused easily.
I know I do.

Of course, it is just us who are being grumpy sods - that kitchen is one of the most downloaded sims2 items EVER and so a hell of a lot of people have it and slaving the files to it was a good choice by MLC.
