No allow hotlink?

Hi Lee, I read that if other sites link to my pictures, my bandwidth decreases.
So I looked up how to do and I found this:

In .htaccess (I have tried with .htaccess in /forum ) add:

Code:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://(www\.)?mydomain.com/.*$ [NC]
RewriteRule \.(gif|jpg|js|css)$ - [F]

It seem works but only with direct images (i.e.: mydomain.com/forum/sampleimage.gif) but no with images uploaded with Xthreads (mydomain.com/forum/xthreads_attach.php/number_etc/etc/sampleimage.jpg/thumb400x400)

Maybe why it ends with "thumb400x400"?
