Sims 2 crashing on CAS?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection from Origin and I've even refreshed my laptop and nothing seemed to stop it from crashing when I go in and try to create a sim.
Can anyone help me fix this?
