[split] Sims 2 Crashes! Help!

Hello! I stumbled across the same problem as sims2player did. I am able to go into the game, through the neighborhood, and into the family name screen. However, when I try to add a family member, my game will just crash. I have just updated to Windows 10 as well. I have a Dell Inspiron if you need to know that as well.
Help me please!!!!

You need to download these two files
Graphic Rules - INTEL
Video Cards.sgr - INTEL - 0116
and install them
\Program Files (x86)\EA\The Sims 2 - Apartment Life\TSData\Res\Config\
\Program Files (x86)\EA\The Sims 2 - Apartment Life\TSData\Res\CSConfig\
MUST BE INSTALLED IN BOTH FOLDERS
that should fix your problem.
You need to download these two files

-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file. - Your operating System.
- What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
