Hi guys,
I just installed the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection from Origin on my ThinkPad T420 - this game worked fine previously on another system, but now the game crashes with ACCESS_VIOLATION upon loading into a lot. I have no custom content installed, and my Windows 10 install is largely fresh (some IDEs and stuff installed, but nothing special).
Steps I have taken to try to rectify the problem:
DXDIAG info:
https://scrn.us/i/gyxuz.txt
Contents of the newest Sims2Exception file:
https://scrn.us/i/d0609.txt
[/b]
Any help in resolving this matter would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
monotron

- Tried deleting Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 directory.
- Tried disabling shaders (boolProp useShaders false).
- Tried running the game as Administrator.
- Tried updating my system and drivers to the latest versions.
