So I'm new. Hi everyone. Umm I have problem with Sims 2. The graphics are kinda messy and it's kinda running slow which is killing me. I need someone's help asap. I think there was a thread about it but I lost it and yeaaah....
Also it says this and umm I really need help lmao
Name (database): Intel® HD Graphics <<NOT FOUND IN DATABASE!>

You need to attach your config log txt as it says in the sticky before you post in this forum

@SimsManiac Yup - that's correct. 
You need to download these two files:
Download Graphic Rules
Download Video Cards.sgr for Intel 0f31
You don't say whether you have Sims Ultimate Collection or the DVDs.
If you have Ultimate Collection:
\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Config\
\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\CsConfig\
MUST BE INSTALLED IN BOTH FOLDERS
If you have the CD/DVDs
\Program Files (x86)\EA\The Sims 2 - Mansion and Gardens\TSData\Res\Config\
\Program Files (x86)\EA\The Sims 2 - Mansion and Gardens\TSData\Res\CSConfig\
MUST BE INSTALLED IN BOTH FOLDERS
That will fix the messy graphics, and the message in the config-log.txt about not finding the video card in the database.
Regarding Lag - before you do anymore, try it out with just these changes. Also increase your smooth edges to max. If it's still lagging come back and I'll tell you the next part to do.

Information we need
- The
-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file. - Your operating System.
- What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
