[split] New Laptop w/ Win 10- need help with Graphics

hope you can help
ive got the usual problem of windows 10 not running the sims 2 correctly
ive tried running with windows xp sp3 settings and keep getting the dx9.c error message
without using the compatability settings it will barey run and can only get minimum resolution. its unplayale like this please help me...
I'm not great at all this stuff so sorry if ive missed something

Before you post requesting help
Information we need
- The
-config-log.txt from the Logs folder in the My Documents\EA\The Sims2\ Click "full editor" below to attach a text file. - Your operating System.
- What the problem actually is - that will be a picture to show the problem (optional), and accompanying text files that turn up (optional), and a detailed description of what happened, and what you expected to happen.
