I've played Sims 2 in the past, but I found a copy of the four disc Sims 2 and it's the only Sims game I have. I'm trying to play it on a HP laptop with Intel i3 graphics. I've tried going to the graphics card posts and placing video card and graphics rules text files in the Config and CSConfig folders. Either I get the "no directX9 found on system" error (I have directX12, and it won't let me reinstall directX9) or it just flashes the Sims 2 logo like the game is going to start but then it never launches.
