Isn't it weird, how the Maxoids think it's a good idea to have children do all kinds of weird stuff, and hardly anything sensible? Sure, children play, and they still need to learn some of what can and can not be done. But if they can get a left-over from a fridge, then why would they NOT be able to get a bottle for their younger siblings.

So this mod addresses that problem. However: this ONLY works for all the Maxis fridges. If you have custom fridges, and want them to be child-friendly too, you need to do something about it yourself, alas.

And here's how: open the package of your fridge in SimPE, select the TTAB resource, open it in plug-in view, select interaction 0xA (10), usually named "Baby Bottle", tick the box next to "children", commit file, save, delete groups.cache, and start your game to enjoy your work!

No need for that when it comes to Maxis fridges, though. Because you can download that right here. Smile

Enjoy

Is "Quick Reply" supposed to activate on hover? Anyways I was literally just thinking about this children can't get the bottle for their younger siblings problem the other day so I am going to give this mod a go.

On a side note: How come children can't at least make cereal for themselves? It doesn't use the stove or oven or the processor so they wouldn't endanger themselves in anyway. Also is cereal really considered a meal? Like really?

I have no clue about quick reply, my friend. Smile I can only say that for me, the "leave a comment" button doesn't work: I had to quote your post and remove the quote to be able to answer Smile But Lee is still working on it, so I guess it will be fine eventually Smile

The problem with cereal and some other simple things is a bit complicated: ALL meals are handled by one and the same ENORMOUSLY BIG AND COMPLEX routine. If their preparation was handled from the dishes themselves, it might have been possible to allow kids to make cereal indeed. But since all that knowledge is centralized somewhere else, that's not going to be so easy...
