Hey, my Choral group
#1 01-05-2012
Hey, this is a picture of the choir that I'm involved with. I'm the second person in from the right. Our oldest member is 95 years old, he's the third gentleman in from the right. Not only do I sing with the choir but I'm also responsible for creating the posters, tickets and programmes.

We've just given a successful concert, Baroque to Rock, starting with Vivaldi's Gloria and ending with A Tribute to Queen!

Here's the programme cover, I'm quite proud of this one!

We're working on our summer programme now, with light music for a summer's evening.

Just a little flavour of what I get up to when I'm not simming.Big Grin

Wow, you really are a busy person Big Grin The group looks great, very professional.

Re your oldest member - 95 years old and still singing - that is quite an achievement. Possibly hope for BO yet.

ooh - the pictures are up.

I like the Baroque to Rock - very suave. I like the pattern a lot.

Thanks Lee. The pdf doesn't do it justice, it looked better in RL. The insides looked good too - had some good reviews.

Sorry, not unless you come to a concert (a bit far from Australia!). It'd cost too much to make a CD. We are thinking of recording ourselves but only for personal use, copyright you see. Maybe in the long term future.

I had a holiday day yesterday and spent the afternoon finishing off two lots of posters, tickets and programmes for the two concerts we are giving in June. Both concerts have a similar content but the one at the end of June is a joint concert with a jazz band.

You've got some of my favourites in there! I remember singing Orff, Messiah, and Ave Verum Corpus when I was in Choir. It was glorious!

Yep, I loved that concert, it was briliant! We managed to sing Ave Verum without the music too! We're planning to do Part 1 and 2 of Messiah next year and Carmina the year after. Our new MD has got us planned out for two years! We are so moving forward now. We now sing to an audience of over 200, we used to get 60-70 in the audience with our old MD. I've been with the choir for 22 years.
