M&G Second Empire Set

I've been looking at the bits and pieces of these - especially as I'm looking to reproduce -
http://www.kestan.com/travel/lunenburg/index.htm
The Daniel Rudolph House B&B
7down, middle house.
The 2nd empire looks almost completely perfect for this....
except that I can't work out how to do the curved roof for the front porch - the 2ndEmpire roof leaves a gap, and the curved pagoda roof looks wrong and is too low.
Also - is there a 2-tile window that looks that one on the 2nd floor? I'm going to compromise with the current 2 tile but it would be cool to do with one that was closer.... and I'm wondering if the bohemian window is a closer fit? Or Lee's grocery windows? Except that there isn't a match for the bay window.
Also I noticed that for the pediment there's an inner corner, but not an outer corner in the set. Did anyone ever make an outer corner?

I downloaded them - to be honest I'm not sure - the pediment I'm thinking of is the one that sticks to the wall and is bubbly, rather than the plain ones. See picture above - and the gap I'm looking at.
The mansard roof might work - I will try that.
Thanks Karen.
ETA: I am a dummy. I just found the outer corner for the pediment - EA did create it.

Not sure if there might be something here, but it might be worth checking out.

Great house - I think (as I like centred windows) that I did indeed centre the one tile window of that M&G set. It should be on MTS.

If those are not quite what you wanted let me know - I don't have M&G installed, but with the original mesh and that window set from MTS I can do pretty much whatever you like

Yup they look good Lee - I've put them into my game and had a fiddle around and like what I see.
The Arch at the front door is not quite right, but I need to have enough space to put the lighting, and 4 tiles across looks wrong. So I'm going to recolour it to match, and then put some stained glass in the transom to pretty it up. I have a LOT of victorian stained glass
Now! I'm going to start recolouring and retexturing.
I'm going to keep using this post to display the work in progress if that's ok?

Great idea
What you might want is a two on three tile door - not sure about whether the lighting would make it not work though.

Looking at the original picture, that would work for the inner door, but not for the outer arch. So I will definitely use it for the inner door - it's gorgeous! A 2 on 3 tile arch like the original looks way better than the 1 tile, if not for the lighting.
The lighting could work if I felt a little surer about using the grid off cheat, but bad eyes means that I could make a right mess with it, and unfortunately most lights are centred on the tile, rather than on the left or right.

Have you tried this cheat: setQuarterTilePlacement [on/off]
Allows objects to be placed in quarter tile increments. Enabled by pressing Ctrl+F.
I use this one a lot now, more than the grid off cheat, seating and tables can't be used if you set them with this cheat tho, but it's great for lighting and deco objects.
