Question Number of unread messages

I should have asked this in a private message, as it is not so important as to deserve a whole thread but I'm still not able to send PMs (must be because I'm new to this forum)

Let's get to the point: I'd like to add on my forum the number of unread messages, as we have here. How can I do that??
