I've had gotten help on here before for the same issue but that was on my laptop and maybe 2 years ago.So I dont remeber. This is on a desktop and I finally installed Sims 2 Ulimate Collection again.
So my game is flickering when I move the screen which I think is because smooth edges is grayed out.And shadows is grayed out too.And my screen is stuck in 800x600 resolution screen size.
I have Windows 10.
Excuse the name of my computer.lol.

You need these two files, installed in the folders listed.
Graphic Rules - INTEL - Texture Fix
Video Cards - INTEL - 0412
\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Config\
\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\CsConfig\
MUST BE INSTALLED IN BOTH FOLDERS
Check that you're running the game in admin mode, and you've done troubleshoot compatibility as well.
That should fix everything.

I think you need to put this in your programme files not the Documents folder as Kiri says in the filepath '\Program Files (x86)'.

can you put up your most recent config log.txt again and we'll see if there's something we need to tweak.
Are you doing this with a vanilla game (i.e. no CC) ?

Good, good - that means we have the simplest configuration.
I've looked at your config log, and it's taken the changes ok, and looks good.
So OK.
The Sims2ep9.exe is in the folder
\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSBin\
1. Did you troubleshoot compatibility on the Sims2ep9.exe?
2. Did you run the Sims2EP9.exe in admin mode.
3. When you went in game, did you change the 'smooth edges' to max?
In the folder where the config-log.txt was, there maybe a file or 2 that looks like
Sims2Exception 2016.05.01 16.02.37.txt
where the numbers at the end are the date and time. If you do have this file, can you upload the most recent one here. That will give me some ideas on what the problem is.

The one that says Sims2EP9 and then has a type of application is the one I'm talking about. You've got the suffixes hidden.
That's ok. If it's running fine at the moment, we'll leave it at that until we know better.
