Good Afternoon Simmers,

I hope You and your Family’s are Safe & Well during this Covid-19 Pandemic.

I had sadly taken a very long break from playing The Sims 3. But due to being off work because of this Covid-19 Pandemic I thought it would be a great time to get g in to Playing / Building.

Unfortunately, due to my Autism that is as far as my abilities go Playing, Building / Creating. That is one thing I would love to do is Mod / Creating Custom Content.

So, this is why I am looking for someone who can help me Convert poppet-sims Bubble Up Hot Tub for The Sims 2 to The Sims 3. I have permission from poppet-sims to Convert this Hot Tub as it Recolors from The Sims 2 Base Game Hot Tub the only change is the Lattice Work has been removed from the back.

I have added below the messages between Myself & poppet-sims to prove I have permission. Hiya. Those were just recolours I made of a mesh that comes from the sims 2, I forget which expansion pack now, so my permission isn't needed for that. If you do want to convert the one from the game though and use my textures then that's completely fine

The only thing other than the texture included with my download is a default replacement which was made by a simmer who's no longer active. The one from the game has s little lattice fence around it, the default replacement removed that

Hello. I need a plugin to reset a value at user database on the UserCP

On user cp i need a button that says "Reset HWID"
on the click it should launch
UPDATE `mybb_users` SET `hwid` = NULL WHERE `mybb_users`.`uid` = THEUSERID;

Fetching a specific Image

Hello lads.

I have been trying to design my own portal recently. Actually re design the default mybb portal but now I have come to dead end. The thing is I want to fetch the first image from a post and display it on the portal. Now since I'm particularly new to MyBB I don't know how to do that. If someone would be kind enough to help then I'd really appreciate it.

I recently started using Mybb. I want to know if there's a way to make some threads I want to appear on the front page. Actually there's a forum that does this but I'm not sure it it's a mybb forum.

Here's how it works, the moderators or super moderators go around the various boards/forums, if he notices any good thread, he push the button and the thread title appears on the front page for visitors to easily see them.

Any plugin to achieve that?

Glad that I manage to find this MyBB support forum run by MyBB staff, LeeFish.

My name is inTech and I am having trouble logging into MyBB official forums - I would like to stress, "official" forums. I have two old accounts at MyBB official forums, jacktheking and inTech. I forgot both the passwords and used the reset password feature. It state that the emails were sent but I did not receive any despite waiting for more than six hours and checking my spam folder on both email accounts.

(You can skip to tldr at the last paragraph.)

I do not want to create another account at MyBB official forums again because I do not want to be marked as someone with multiple accounts. Then, I am very amused by the support I found at official MyBB site - yeah I keep stressing "official".

https://www.mybb.com/contact/ & https://www.mybb.com/support/ contain no email link or whatsoever way to contact MyBB team without using the forums - and my problem is that I cannot log into the forums. I continue to search for ways to contact the MyBB team. Oh great, there is email button on this page, http://community.mybb.com/showteam.php. Clicked on one of the button and it prompted me to log into the official forums, whereas my problem is I cannot log into the official forums.

Continue to search for ways to contact MyBB team ... Oh! Great! MyBB have official Twitter account and Facebook page! Wanted to use my social media account to contact MyBB but decided not after seeing that MyBB is not active on the two social platforms. Not giving up, checked the Github page hoping to find email addresses that I could use to contact official MyBB ... but there is none.

LinkedIn! Yeah! The professional way to contact someone! Searched for "Chris Boulton" and there is a lot of results. Spent sometime looking through the list and finally found one working at BigCommerce (I got it this information from his Github page). So I quickly registered an account at LinkedIn just to contact him but ... InMail need subscription fees.

I then registered at the official MyBB forums. Only to found out that in order to post a thread or email or PM someone, I will need to activate my account. Checked my email and the same problem occur - no email received after six hours, checked spam folder.

Finally when I checked the forum team page again, I recalled that Leefish have a forum. Then I registered on this forums.

(Same thing occured to me a few years ago when I register my first account, "jacktheking". Did not receive my activation email and I have to register at a moderator forums to request for activation. It could be that my IP address is in StopForumsSpam database - I am not a spammer, I am just using dynamic IP address.)

(I think that MyBB need to strengthen their support group, there should be at least an email address at https://www.mybb.com/contact/ so that those with problem at official MyBB forums can use it to contact.)

tldr; forgot password, no email received from the official MyBB forums - let me stress 'official' here.

I would like change background to forumdisplay_threads only when thread is public ( user['usergroup'] == 4 && $GLOBALS['threadfields']['showorhide'] == 'show' then> background yellow ) and only visible to admins.

on my website there are many old private messages (users don't delete often it until message box reaches 100%). How to manage old private messages, for example all messages before 2015?

Hi Lee, do you know how to get only the first image of a thread and add it to swipe script?

The key of the first image is "portalimg" and the other 6 images of each thread have other name keys (in total 7 images for thread, it's a forum of review).

Because with that tutorial you have directly link (hotlink) from other website, and it's not very good.

Then for my server space will be a disaster (they are huge images) but I hope not all my users will add a background

Hi Lee, I still have this question and I don't know what I do:

- Responsive: I need only a template for all resolution screens and templates but then I don't know how to manage Ads banners..on mobile is difficult this (little space) and Adsense doesn't want that webmaster hide Ads and many other limits to ads; I have to work more on theme because I have to make responsive for all resolutions.

- Theme only for mobile (like gomobile): I have to work on two themes; users look difference between desktop theme and mobile theme; more easy work on two different themes without to think "If I add this then on mobile how it will to be?"; Gomobile checks if a device is Android / Iphone etc but many users have Ipad or tablet (Apple or Android, 768px?) so I would like they look to desktop theme; mobile theme only for maximum 768px?

I know I made a theme only for desktop and you advise me two different themes but I always doubts

First, I am willing to pay for these plugin requests, and am happy to discuss pricing with you.

Now these are what I need made. Please note, these are for a writing forum.

Plugin 1:

A book database that is similar to goodreads but not as buggy. Users will be able to add their own books. If the author of their own books adds said book, I'd like the book to land on a page or tab that will appear on their profile. In addition to adding books, members should be allowed to search for books by genre and add them to shelves such as want to read, read, currently reading, re-reading. We can discuss the complete details if you are interested in making this.

Plugin 2

A book review system

Members should be able to review books they have read. They should NOT be able to comment on the review as this is how trolls and drama happens. More details can be discussed as well as pricing if you decide to make this. Think like Amazon review system but better.

Plugin 3

Determine if author, blogger, reader, publisher, publicist, editor, graphics designer etc. These titles should be noticeable on a members profile.

With Lee's help, I'm currently using the Gallery plugin, crossed with the 'Trending Topics' plugin found elsewhere, to produce the top commented threads on my forum in a couple of rows of large images at the top of my index page. What I'd also like, running at the same time as that below it, is 4 columns of other popular/commented on threads, each pulling 5-10 threads from different sub-forums. Think of it like a blog site, where you see the thumbnail, title and number of replies. 4 columns of those, obviously with quite small thumbs.

What I'm basically asking is, how can I reproduce the Gallery/Trending area I'm already using 4 more times with different CSS to control the look of the area?

Yes, I know, the moon on a stick springs to mind, but it surely must be possible. Maybe...

Any help greatly appreciated. I would link the forum but it's being designed by myself and isn't live. Instead I've attached a basic image so you can see what I mean. The top 8 boxes represent the Gallery/Trending area I'm already using, and the 4 columns are underneath.

I come forward with a hopefully simple copy and paste request. I am looking for a way to add more than one section of announcements to the portal page and more than one list of latest threads to the portal.
Idk who will take this request, but if not leefish, then you will need to know why i guess. My site has 4 different sections of material and I just want the relevant information to show under the specified tab on the portal.
