Mention option

I've been noticing in the graphics forum, that when I select someone to mention, and then click the mention button on the quick reply - nothing comes up in the quick reply box. I thought it was supposed to come up with the "@" user_id ?

Am I doing something wrong, or have misunderstood what is happening?

I tried to put a new upload up today... but it didn't work?

I tried to put a new upload up today... but it didn't work?
Did I not do it right? Or is there something hinky going on?
Everything looked good in the preview - all the files were the right size (they weren't the first time, but I fixed 'em - so I know that's not the issue.) I hit the 'send to the queue' button and nothing happened.
I haven't posted anything here in several years, so I forget if there is a wait/approval list - If there is a wait/approval list, I am more than happy to wait.
I just want to be sure I did my part correctly.
If I didn't, I'll try again tomorrow.

Help with downloading a mod

Hi.

So... I have this problem that I really want one or perhaps 1-3 mods but those mods are deleted at downloading site 4shared.
I don't who or how to contact someone who could maybe could help me to download those mods if it is still somehow possible, I have had those 3 mods about 2 months earlier, but then I had to restart my The sims 2 playing and download again all mods I had. But sadly those mods at ZW's Wolf Den (Zirconia Wolf) are now deleted at 4shared.
I can not even register in Simbology because I don't have access to those e-mail adresses, I am Finnish and can't register any of those required e-mails.
That is my other problem, can't register to Simbology.com. Can someone help me, still want to play the Sims 2 with very good mods.

I was trying to upload my dorm but I got the following error: "Can not upload file - Too large for php post_max_size directive." The zip-file is 1,12 mb. Is that too large? Or is the post too long? Thanks for your help

I'm probably blind or stupid or both, but I cannot find how I can add my tumblr. The only boxes I can find are add website (which adds the icon next to the private message) or add twitter, but not tumblr. Not that there's anything on my tumblr yet, but you know, peer pressure and stuff Thanks!

Hitting the Post Topic button keeps giving me the user control panel pop-up. I've tried a couple of browsers and the same thing's happening on each one. I read the READ THIS post first, thinking maybe I had to make a certain number of comments before I could post a topic, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I was looking at leefish (as usual) and I decided that our downloads display was kind of old fashioned looking.

I think the "problem" is the bordered boxy look, especially on bluefish and barbiedal and the members area.

I made a mock-up in the upload area - here are some pics. I would like to change the layout to this. I think it would look cleaner.

Opinions please.

The description thing can either be added when you upload a thread, or it will auto populate from your post contents.

I am also looking for ideas to make our index page look a bit more modern as well - again, it is very boxy and listy and I really hate it.

Just an idea for the site. I love the way on PBK, and other forums, when you go to a member's profile it displays what their most activity is in in a certain forum on the site, and what topic they've posted in most. I don't know if this forum setup will allow it, but it's worth a try. It's up to you if you like the idea, it's always just been one of the little extras I like about Plumb Bob Keep.

I notice some members names are in green, was wondering how do you a get a green name? I had a pink one for a while that only showed up in some places, which was probably a glitch. I reckon it's post count? Am I right? Or something more?

Hey Lee, I was just wondering how you felt about conversions here specifically Medieval - TS2, TS3 or TS3 Store - TS2. I know mts doesn't allow Medieval - TS2, TS3 conversions, but many other smaller sites do. A lot of people also upload TS3 Store - TS2 conversions (I think there's one on mts even). Just wondering how you personally felt about having them here.

Signature Image Sizes (HxW)

Ok blame it on my OCD but today I decided to create a new signature image for myself and after much, much trial and error I have come across what I believe to be the safest image dimensions to use so that you won't get the "image has been scaled down message" or the scrollbar.

Ready?

Height: 55px Max
Width: 600px (Seems safest)
