Good luck with the next steps in your life, it all sounds very exciting 
I'm glad you came back to the simming community! It must be quite a shock, coming home after ten years! I remember yelling at my BF for driving on the wrong side of the road, the first day I came home, and that was only after one year in the UK!
Longest I've gone without simming must be a couple of years, between TS1 and TS3. And after joining here, it must be what, a couple of days/weeks during the holidays? And even then I try to regularly check here and MTS
